This class is designed for beginning through intermediate watercolor artists. Kate assists students as they gain understanding and control of watercolor through guided classroom projects (drawings provided for those who need them). She will lead you toward ‘watercolor independence’ in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. In addition to watercolor skills, you will learn about the elements and principles of design such as composition, color, value, etc. These are the guiding principles used by artists as they create art. Any students interested in colored pencil are encouraged to attend as well.
