The Litchfield Ballet Foundation (LBF), is a non-profit organization that promotes classical arts in South Carolina lowcountry through ballet and dance. The LBF mission is to provide a professional dance enviroment that offers educational oppotunities and activities that will facilitate talented dance students to excel and increase their potential to enter the professional world. By building partnerships with other arts organizatons in the regions, we strive to create cultural enrichment, raise our quality of life and make our community a more desirable place to live. We are vital to our community because we entertain, educate, and uplift individuals of all ages and socio- economic backgrounds.

Litchfield Ballet Foundation was established in 2001, as a sister organization to the Litchfield Dance Arts Academy(LDAA) and the Litchfield Dance Company(LDC). Ilka Doubek and Tom Fox are its founding directors.
