The Art Box, opened in 1998, is an art studio and supply & frame shop located in Pawleys Island, SC, and serves as a hub for local artists to obtain supplies, find out about art classes, and meet fellow artists.  Quickly becoming a gathering place for artists and art lovers, the studio offers classes in painting, sculpting, ceramics, and pottery.  The supply and frame shop offer specialty framing, restoration & repair work, and shadow boxes.  Commissioned works are also available for portraits and landscapes in oil, pastel, or watercolor.  Owned by artist Jefri Chandler, the store offers discounts on supplies to Cultural Council members and students.
